What will lie at core here, is the premise of non-visual sensations as presences and the bodily constitution of humans having been neglected by an academic discourse favoring abstract cognition and rigid language. This thesis will concern itself with the sensate body and with that, the sense of smell as the sense that is the most ephemeral and most elusive towards being expressed through language. ![]()
